Here’s my Classic Movie Review of the film Working Girl: starring Melanie Griffith, Harrison Ford, Sigourney Weaver, Alec Baldwin, and Joan Cusack.  Directed by Mike Nichols. This is considered by AFI as one of the most ROMANTIC FILMS OF ALL TIME!

Working Girl (1988) is a romantic comedy drama and is the story of Tess McGill,  a working class secretary born and raised in Staten Island, New York.  She takes the ferry into New York City day in and day out, unsettled with her life and daring to dream big dreams.

I have a head for business and a bod for sin. Is there anything wrong with that?                                      – Tess McGill, Working Girl

Here’s my YouTube Video and Classic Movie Review of the film Sabrina: starring Humphrey Bogart, Audrey Hepburn and William Holden. Directed by Billy Wilder. This is considered by AFI as one of the MOST Romantic FILMS OF ALL TIME!

Sabrina (1955) is a modern day Cinderella fairytale with a sincere sweetness and snappy repartee.  Sabrina is a simple girl who lives with her chauffeur father above the garage of the wealthy Larrabee family and their two sons; stuffy, responsible Linus and carefree, playboy David.  She has been in love with David for as long as she can remember, but he has never given her the time of day.  Sabrina goes off to Paris, grows up and blossoms into a fashionable, educated and sophisticated woman that David will never forget.  Will he marry the woman he’s promised to for the benefit of his family’s empire, or live with Sabrina happily ever after?

Sabrina: Well hello, how are you?
David: Well I’m fine, how are you?
Sabrina: Who am I?
David: Am I supposed to know?

-Sabrina, 1954
